Seagull Models Christen Husky Aviat A-1C

The Aviat A-1C Christen Husky model with an 80" wingspan in the size range of 15-20cc has been developed for the advanced sport flyer. It is a semi-scale model that is easy and quick to assemble. The airframe is conventionally built from balsa wood and plywood, providing sufficient strength. The level of prefabrication is high, so only a few tasks remain to be completed.

The design allows for easy handling of the aircraft. You will find that most of the work has already been done. With the use of landing and takeoff flaps, exceptional short takeoffs and landings are possible, making the model resemble a larger trainer model. The wings can be removed for transport. LED lights are included and serve as position lights as well as landing lights. The stable, scale-like landing gear comes with large balloon wheels. A gasoline engine of approximately 20cc (e.g., DLE20 RE) or comparable electric drives for 6-8S lipos can be used for propulsion.
