The Scythe S-FLEX 120mm Fan SFF21D is equipped with the unique S-FDB (SONY Fluid Dynamic Bearing) bearing, developed by SONY Corporation. The S-FDB technology drastically reduces friction between the bearing and the spindle, making the fan almost inaudible to the human ear.
This patented S-FDP structure results in an extremely long lifespan of approximately 150,000 hours - that’s about 17 years of continuous use. Additionally, an area contact mechanism enhances the anti-shock structure, which is five times stronger than that of a conventional ball bearing.
