Scotch Premium Protect painter's masking tape for various surfaces is made from PEFC-certified paper that consists of recycled fibers. It has medium adhesive strength and can be removed cleanly without residue for up to 8 days after application indoors and 24 hours after application outdoors. The Scotch Premium Protect painter's masking tape is the eco-friendly "Protect" version of the standard Scotch painter's masking tapes. The paper is made from at least 30% post-consumer recycled fibers, is PEFC-certified, and comes from certified renewable sources and sustainable forestry. The adhesive is made from natural rubber. Overall, this tape is composed of at least 54% renewable raw materials, the highest percentage among Scotch painter's masking tapes. This medium-strength masking tape is particularly suitable for standard use on smooth or lightly textured surfaces such as plaster, metal, or wood.
