The Modicon M171 PLC in Performance version is designed for simple and compact applications in the field of HVAC machines and pump automation. Various interfaces allow for networking, for example with building management systems. The integrated display and buttons enable direct adjustment of control parameters on the device. It features a total of 27 integrated I/O, including 8 digital and 6 configurable (U/I/T/R) analog inputs, as well as 7 digital and 5 configurable (U/I) analog outputs. An integrated Modbus SL interface allows for remote downloading. The power supply is provided via 24 VAC / 24 VDC or 48 VDC. The digital outputs are designed as relays (2x 8A / 230VAC and 2x 5A / 230VAC). Connections are made using removable screw terminals (not included). It can be mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail. Programming is done with the free EcoStruxure Machine Expert - HVAC software.
