The low-voltage reactive power compensation from the PowerLogic PFC family helps avoid penalties from energy suppliers. It enables energy savings, reduces operating costs, and decreases CO² emissions through the reactive power compensation of inductive loads. This hardware is compatible with power management software to leverage the benefits of digital energy supply and facilitate seamless integration into EcoStruxture Power. Intelligent monitoring and measurement functions are available for safe operation. It is designed to optimize operation and maintenance across a wide range of applications, both in commercial and industrial sectors. This version, suitable for a grid voltage of 400V 50Hz, delivers reactive power up to 900kvar with a derating factor of 5.7%. Compensation is automatically adjusted by the reactive power controller of the PowerLogic PFC controller family. It is designed for grid harmonic voltages up to 7% or grid harmonic currents up to 20%, defining the grid as a polluted harmonic grid. The PowerLogic PFC Capacitor Banks IEC series is certified according to CE, IEC 61921, IEC 61439 Part 1, and IEC 61439 Part 2. It includes long-life capacitors from the PFC capacitor family, developed in accordance with IEC831 Part 1 and IEC831 Part 2, and an intelligent controller with Modbus communication RS485. The RAL7035 housing is a floor-standing system with a bottom entry connection protected by a circuit breaker. The external dimensions of the housing are 2 times 1400 mm in width, 600 mm in depth, 2200 mm in height, and a maximum product weight of 2x 952 kg. By default, the housings are IP31. Optional kits are available to easily convert them to IP54. This product is particularly suitable for reactive power compensation applications with variable or unstable loads.
