BMXMSP0200 (681-8712) positioning module with pulse output requires the use of a BMXFTB2820 (681-8703) 28-pin spring terminal block. M340, Pulse Output - Positioning Module. This module contains a square-wave pulse output for driving stepper or servo systems with a specified number of pulses and a specified cycle time. It can be programmed to generate either one pulse train or a pulse profile of multiple pulse trains. For example, a pulse profile can be used to control a stepper motor or servo motor with a ramp-up or ramp-down, with pulses for normal operation, or with more complicated pulse sequences. The control is implemented in a similar way to an open loop control system. No feedback information about the actual position of the module is required.
