This CANopen communication module is part of the Modicon X80 series, a range of common I/O for Modicon M340 and Modicon M580. It features a 9-pin SUB-D socket for Profibus DP. The Modicon X80 automation platform meets the requirements for TC treatment (treatment for all climate zones) and can operate in a temperature range of 0°C to +60°C. Modicon X80 modules provide a unified environment for the use of I/O modules in automation architectures, reducing costs for spare parts inventory, maintenance, and training. The communication service is CiA DSP 301 V4.02 with a standard module format. It is an IP20 certified product. This product complies with CE, UL, CSA, RCM, and EAC standards and is certified for applications in power generation, the merchant marine, railways, and hazardous areas. The product must be mounted in the rack and secured with 2 screws.
