It comes ready for installation with an adapter set, a two-meter long power cable, and a height-adjustable quiet-running wall bearing. The extra-wide adapter ensures optimal power transmission to the roller shutter shaft and compensates for any uneven cuts of the shaft. The integrated radio control reduces the effort required for installation, wiring, and setting up the roller shutter motor. However, to operate and adjust it, you will need an additional control element, such as the Schellenberg radio remote controls, Schellenberg radio timers, or a smart home system from Schellenberg, Smart Friends, or the Magenta SmartHome system. The Premium radio tubular motor has been developed and optimized for integration into a smart home. During setup, the end positions can be adjusted not only via the remote control but also conveniently through an app, using a smartphone or tablet. A new feature is the innovative bidirectional radio communication, which allows the tubular motor to not only receive but also send radio signals. The tubular motor is also equipped with an over-the-air update function and continuously reports its current status thanks to the keep-alive mode. This allows you to check and change the position of the roller shutter in seconds via the app. If you want to control your roller shutters via voice command, you will need a smart home control center and a smart speaker from Amazon Echo or Google Home. Once the control center and the speaker are connected, you can enable the roller shutter motor for voice control and give Alexa or Google the command to open or close the roller shutter. Additionally, if the roller shutter becomes blocked, frozen, or overheated, the obstacle detection feature will prevent any issues.
