Product details

The SC 8271 is an infrared forehead thermometer that measures body temperature in just one second. The end of the measurement is indicated by a beep. The measurement is taken at the forehead.

Up to nine measurement values can be stored in memory. When the device is turned off, press and hold the ON/OFF button for about 3 seconds to display the last measurement value. With each subsequent button press, you can access additional measurement values in chronological order. The oldest measurement value is stored in memory slot 1.

Position the measuring probe 2 cm away from the forehead, between the eyebrows. Now press the ON/OFF button and read the temperature from the LCD display.

Avoid direct finger contact with the infrared emitter to prevent contamination and damage.

If the display shows the "Battery low" symbol, the battery should be replaced. The user manual provides specific instructions on how to open the battery compartment and replace the battery. CR 2032 type batteries are compatible with this device. Please read the user manual carefully to avoid measurement errors.
