Product details

Magnetic contact detectors are essential devices for protecting perimeter areas. They are used to secure doors, windows, and more by triggering an alarm when they are opened. The K-3 2E detector is designed for flush mounting, meaning its components are installed by screwing their aluminum housings into appropriately prepared holes in wooden or plastic door frames or window frames. The K-3 consists of two waterproof parts: the reed switch (magnetic) sensor and the magnet, whose surfaces should be in contact with each other. When one part is removed from the other, the sensor circuit is interrupted, which is indicated as a breach.

The K-3 2E is designed to work with any alarm control panel equipped with NC inputs and can also be used in automation systems as a control element.
