The Premium Smart Remote Control BN59-01242A introduces a new control concept from Samsung for the first time. Based on the fast and sleek Tizen operating system, the Smart Hub interface fundamentally changes the way the device is controlled compared to previous models. A combination of infrared and Bluetooth is used for signal transmission. The television is powered on with a Power ON signal via infrared. Once the device is started, the operation switches to Bluetooth transmission mode. The control is excellent for navigating media menus and external sources.
