The Samsung 870 EVO was slightly more expensive than the competition when it was launched at the beginning of 2021. In the meantime, the 870 EVO has fallen significantly in price and is a recommendation not only for this reason. The SSD performance is more than sufficient for everyday use. This also applies to the variant we tested with a storage capacity of 2 TB.
