Samsonite was founded in 1910 by Jesse Shwayder in Denver and initially produced heavy wooden trunks. This product and/or its packaging are made from recycled materials. This process is more environmentally friendly, as raw materials do not need to be newly sourced with high effort. Yogurt cups, single-use bottles, plastic waste, and film packaging are incorporated into the manufacturing process through recycling.
