The Samson Resound VX8.1 is a portable column array system that delivers premium sound in a sleek, easy-to-transport package, perfect for mobile DJs, bands, singer-songwriters, or anywhere high-quality sound reinforcement is needed. This active 700-watt system includes a 12-inch subwoofer with a 3-channel mixer and eight 3.5-inch drivers arranged in a vertical column configuration, providing a horizontal coverage of 120°-200°.

Column coverage. Eight 3.5" drivers are arranged in an interlocking 3-segment column array, paired with a 12" subwoofer that can produce up to 125 dB SPL. To ensure that the entire audience is covered, the VX8.1 offers a horizontal dispersion angle of 120° when the entire array is centered, and 200° when the two array segments are rotated 45° in opposite directions. The system's subwoofer delivers tight low frequencies down to 40 Hz.

Power and connectivity. With its lightweight Class-D amplifier delivering 700 watts of power to the system (350 W sub / 350 W array) and integrated 4-preset DSP processing (Music, Live, Speech, DJ), the VX8.1 is capable of filling large spaces with stunning sound. Its 3-channel mixer features inputs for microphones, instruments, and line devices. Additionally, backing tracks or music playback can be conveniently streamed via Bluetooth from any mobile device. A Thru output allows you to connect a second VX8.1 system and expand your sound further.

Gig-ready. The VX8.1 is constructed from solid plywood with structural paint and steel grilles, making it robust enough to be used from gig to gig. The interlocking components of the system make setup easy.
