Terminal blocks. Designed for connecting cables of the same potential, the terminal strips are ideal for use in junction boxes, control panels, equipotential systems, and anywhere safe disconnection of branch lines without interrupting the main lines is required. Each pole of the terminal is internally connected by a copper busbar to create a low-resistance current path. Some blocks are available in a mixed pole size format – for example, item no. 388-2849 is specified as 2 + 6. This means 2 x 16 mm² + 6 x 6 mm². Voltage 450 V rated current according to cable cross-section: 6 mm (16 A), 16 mm (100 A), 35 mm (170 A). The rated current of the mixed pole format corresponds to the largest available cable cross-section.
