This heat shrink tubing has a 2:1 shrink ratio and is available in new harmonised colours that comply with IEE standards and BS 7671 for new phase colours. When used as an oversheath, this product helps ensure that cables meet the latest fire safety standards. It is a halogen-free heat shrink sleeve that exceeds London Underground and MOD requirements, making it ideal for applications where fire safety is a top priority, such as in public buildings, public transport, underground passenger transport systems, submarines, hospitals, and airports. It features very low flammability with a flame temperature index of over 350 °C, is completely halogen-free, and has extremely low smoke emissions, complying with LUL standards. There is no toxic smoke emission, and it has a high oxygen index of over 40%. This product is ideal for insulation, cable protection, cable marking, and encapsulation on connectors. It is supplied in lengths of 1.2 m.
