The mains connection of these units is not isolated. This is a step-up/step-down autotransformer designed for economy use in converting mains voltages at 50/60 Hz. It features a compact design with full paint impregnation and fully encased windings. Mounting is facilitated by four holes for fixed installation. The terminal blocks come with protective covers, except for the 50 VA terminal which has leads. Each unit undergoes 100% electrical testing and breakdown testing (2 kV winding against core) and is tested according to EN 61558.
