Silicone-free gel pads for thermal interface offer high performance and are available in a variety of thermal conductivities and thicknesses. They are extremely soft and have natural slip resistance, simplifying installation and expanding the scope of potential applications. Possible applications include displays, lighting protection for PDP TVs, LCD CCFL and LCD LED display backlighting, LED signs, projectors, and new display technology. They are suitable for consumer and industrial electronics such as mobile phones, communication base stations, laptops, notebooks, computer servers, portable game consoles, memory modules, CPU modules, amplifiers, batteries, and DC/DC converter power supplies. In automotive electronics, they can be used for engine management, electronic suspension, braking systems, communication and multimedia systems, comfort and convenience functions, vehicle lighting, vehicle controls, hybrid vehicle battery thermal management, and electric vehicle thermal management.
