Not to be used in safety applications for machine control. RS Pro pressure mat with a 4-wire output. This single-layer contact safety switch is made from seamless welded black PVC. It features a 300 mm long 16/0.2 mm wire coated with black PVC. Two wires comprise the circuit of the single-pole on/off switch, while the other two form a continuous loop. The two circuits of the switch have stripped ends of 5 mm. The small pressure pad is recommended for use under stair coverings, while the large version is suitable for use under carpets near doors and windows. It is normally closed with a release pressure of 25 kg over 50 mm². The maximum switching voltage is 25 V dc, and the maximum switching current is 0.25 A dc (resistive). The current carrying capacity is a maximum of 0.25 A dc (resistive), with a maximum power of 10 W/VA. It offers protection against ingress of liquids according to IP64 (not waterproof). The contact resistance is typically 1 Ohm. The operating temperature ranges from –10 °C to +70 °C. It is made from seamless welded PVC material with a 0.22 mm² cable and PVC insulation in black.
