Product details
Flexible heat shrink tubing made of polyolefin from RS Pro with a shrink ratio of 2:1. The diameter of the wire or cable is measured, and a heat shrink tube of the correct size is selected. A piece of the tubing is cut to a length sufficient to cover the connection or joint after heating. This is then slid over the wire. Once the cables or wires are connected, the piece of heat shrink tubing is pulled over the connection and heated with a heat gun until it shrinks and tightly encases the connection.
