The tube complies with the standards E 1042-A6-March 2002, IEC 60684-3-216 Type C, and BS3G 198 Part 3 Type 15. It is a cut-to-length tube with a shrink ratio of 2:1. This completely halogen-free heat shrink tubing exceeds the requirements of the London Underground and the MOD and is recommended for applications where fire safety is a top priority. It is suitable for areas such as public buildings, public transportation, underground passenger transport systems, submarines, hospitals, and airports. The tube is highly flame-retardant, with a flame temperature index of over 350 °C, completely halogen-free, and has extremely low smoke emission that meets the LUL standard. There is no toxic smoke generation, and the high oxygen index of over 40% makes it ideal for use in insulation, cable protection, cable marking, and encapsulating connectors. It is used as a cover to enhance cables to fully meet fire protection standards. The tube is pre-cut to a length of 300 mm.
