Expandable Greenscreen (Chroma Key Panel)

At Rollei, we bring Hollywood to your home with our Greenscreen, measuring 145 x 190 cm and packed in a size of 157 x 21 x 11.5 cm. The total dimensions of the setup screen are 198 x 157 x 40 cm.

Greenscreens are primarily used to cut out people from the background in video editing and insert them into a new background. This technique is often seen in Hollywood films, where an actor appears to be riding a dragon while actually sitting on a wooden frame. Greenscreens are also frequently used for news presenters.

From a technical perspective, it is important to note that human skin does not contain any green color; rather, skin tones are on the opposite side of the color spectrum. This allows for effective cutting out of human skin against a green background.

Additionally, the Greenscreen is easy to light due to its bright neon color. It is ideal for backgrounds that need to be bright later on, as this minimizes color differences and reduces the need for extensive post-processing.

Our Chroma Key Panel is conveniently stored in a long, compact metal case until needed. It can be easily pulled out of the case and set up. A rod attached to the back of the Greenscreen allows it to stand freely without additional support.

Once you have completed your production, simply retract the screen back into its box.
