Product details

The Roland TM-1 Trigger Module enables drummers to expand their acoustic drum kits with electronic sounds through a compact and versatile interface. This trigger module features two trigger inputs compatible with both single and dual trigger pads, supporting acoustic drum triggers, RT-series pads, PD-series pads, BT-1, cymbal pads, CY-series, bass drum pads, KD-series, pedal triggers, KT-series, and footswitches. It includes 15 pre-programmed kits with 30 factory sounds covering snares, toms, cymbals, and percussion samples, plus 30 user slots for custom WAV, AIFF, MP3, AAC, and Apple Lossless audio files on compatible systems. The module offers comprehensive sound control with dedicated knobs for sensitivity, pitch, decay, level, mode selection, mute, kit shift, and power. Output options include mono mix output combining both triggers and stereo individual outputs with trigger 1 on the left channel and trigger 2 on the right channel. Connectivity includes 6.35 mm TRS trigger inputs, jack outputs (L/Mono, R), stereo mini-jack headphone output, MIDI In/Out ports, USB-B for MIDI functionality, and power input. Power options include an included 9V battery, an optional 9V AC adapter, or USB power via the included standard USB-B to USB-A cable. The compact design measures 150 x 95 x 60 mm and weighs 550 g, making it suitable for both studio and stage use. On-stage operation is facilitated by footswitch compatibility and intuitive controls. The module supports various file formats including WAV at 44.1 kHz with 16/24-bit resolution on Windows systems and broader format support on Mac OSX and iOS platforms. This trigger module serves as an entry-level solution for converting acoustic drum kits into hybrid electronic-acoustic setups while maintaining professional sound quality and reliable performance.
