The PDX-6 from Roland is an 8-inch trigger pad. The dual-layer mesh head, measuring 6.5 inches, is tunable and provides a natural rebound and authentic playing feel. The pad allows for dual triggering. Independent sensors ensure precise detection of head and rim shots. The wider tension hoop allows for more comfortable and quieter rim shots.

The included connection cable links the pad to a sound module. The PDX-6 is mounted on a pad holder on the rack but is also compatible with tom mounts and can be attached to acoustic tom stands with a diameter of 9 - 11.5 mm.

Included in the package are a connection cable, a drum key, and a thumb screw.
