The new beginner's manual "Airbrush Basics" is based on the 20 years of experience of airbrush instructor, industry expert, and author Roger Hassler. The book starts with a solid overview of the necessary equipment: airbrush devices, compressors, paints, masking materials, and tips for setting up the workspace. In the practical section, 10 detailed step-by-step guides teach the reader the essential airbrushing techniques – starting from general handling such as spraying lines and color gradients, to splatter and texture techniques, masking techniques, and small illustrations. The motifs include popular "airbrush effect classics" such as stone and metal looks, scales and fur, water droplets, planets, and stars. Of course, the cleaning of the airbrush device is also covered in the book. Two additional chapters provide further information.
