Product details

KrAZ-255B is a Soviet heavy truck, based on its predecessor the KrAZ-214B, made by the Kremenchug automobile plant from 1967 to 1993. Its major improvements included a more powerful 240 hp engine and essentially new wide profile wheels capable of regulating air pressure. The vehicle was used extensively by the Soviet Army and the armies of the Warsaw Pact, and it was exported to the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. To this day, the KrAZ-255B is still in service with the armies of Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, the former Yugoslavia, and Cuba. In addition to military applications, the KrAZ-255 was used in large numbers in the national economy of the USSR for the development of Siberia. Nearly 200,000 units of all versions of the KrAZ-255 were produced, including more than 160,000 of the KrAZ-255B chassis.
