The Prime Series component system is a new generation of factory replacement speakers that delivers the authentic Rockford Fosgate sound. The R165-S is a dedicated 2-way component system that utilizes a mica-injected polypropylene cone for an extended frequency range and allows for direct OEM installation. The tweeter features a Mylar-balanced diaphragm for crystal-clear highs, an inline crossover for simplified installation, and allows for flush, surface, and angled mounting.
