The Sapphire is the new thermal and all-round glider from Robbe Modellsport. The V-tail increases its maneuverability during thermal soaring. The PNP version comes with pre-installed servos, an electrical connector, and original multilocks for wing security. Its flight characteristics can be described as very forgiving. The Sapphire can be flown as a slow thermal glider or, as an all-rounder, can also be moved a bit faster. The ready-covered wings are constructed from a Styro core, fiberglass layers, Abachi sheeting, and a carbon fiber reinforced spar. The ratio of weight to strength has been optimally achieved.
