The Milan is an elegant electric glider in the 2m class that responds excellently to thermals. The joy begins during construction, as all wooden parts are precisely made with laser cutting. The thoughtful design, featuring a spar with a comb structure, allows for quick assembly. The double-sided balsa sheeting of the wings from the leading edge to the main spar results in a lightweight and torsion-resistant D-box. The wing is constructed in three parts with a center section and plug-in tips. The tail section is removable, providing a compact size for transport. The fuselage is built using classic stable wooden construction, with curved side parts for an elegant appearance. The cruciform tail is bolted to the fuselage and can be optionally removed.

The Milan is not only a practical electric glider for everyday use but also the ideal companion for vacations. It is equipped with a lightweight BL motor, such as the 2834-10, which drives a folding propeller of 11 x 8 inches. The 3s LiPo battery with 2200 mA is inserted into the fuselage through a removable canopy. It has enough travel to precisely adjust the center of gravity without needing ballast. With an approximate takeoff weight of 995 g, a safe hand launch is achievable. After 15 to 20 seconds of motor run time, an altitude of about 150 m can be reached. Even small thermal currents can be effectively exploited with the Milan. In addition to the ailerons on the outer wing sections, the wing center section features flaps that can be deployed up to 90°. This ensures that, despite its excellent gliding characteristics, landings on small airfields are safely possible.
