Product details
The M-32 Pro II series has been developed to meet the demanding requirements of professional studios, immersive sound installations, live sound systems, and industrial applications that need a reliable analog converter solution with high-end network audio processing. These new converters are available with either 32 analog inputs or outputs and AVB for a selection of four different models. With up to 32 channels, full MADI I/O, improved specifications with extremely low distortion, intelligent channel routing, and innovative user-friendliness, the new M-32 Pro II series represents the latest technology for exceptional audio performance. The M-32 AD Pro II features two MADI I/Os, including separate signal routing, and an AVB interface based on the open network standards IEEE 802.1 and 1722.1, enabling the transmission of 32 analog channels with up to 192 kHz sample rate over a single Ethernet cable. In conjunction with external AVB switches, the new M-series converters can be quickly, easily, and reliably integrated into more complex network structures thanks to the extensive time-synchronized signal processing of the AVB protocol. The AVB models send and receive up to 128 channels at 48 kHz (96 @ 96 kHz, 64 @ 192 kHz) and are fully controllable and configurable via ATDECC (IEEE 1722.1). This allows for seamless integration into deterministic AVB networks. RME offers an AVB device with two fully redundant network ports, based on MILAN recommendations. The RME AVB-Core consistently implements the IEEE standards for audio streaming, discovery, and control, allowing RME devices to be recognized and fully controlled by any AVB controller, making manufacturer-specific control protocols a thing of the past.
