RME's M-16 DA is a 16-channel high-end DA converter with user-friendly operation and comprehensive features. The device combines excellent analog circuitry with outstanding next-generation AD converters, providing DA conversion at the highest level—16 times over! The M series offers an unmatched flexible foundation for implementing multichannel setups in professional studios, on stage, and in the broadcast sector. Digital/Analog conversion for 16, 32, 48, and 64 channels is possible through combinations of the M-32 DA and M-16 DA, tailored to application needs and budget constraints. Three hardware reference levels up to +24 dBu, MADI I/O, and ADAT input with up to 192 kHz, outputs via 6.3 mm jacks and D-Sub, remote control via MIDI, operation over a wide mains voltage range, and a compact 2U high chassis make this device unique.
