The conically tapered needle tip opens and closes the flow of paint within the nozzle by moving the control lever back and forth. If you wish to convert your spray gun to the large nozzle size, please replace the spray pattern regulator, the needle, and the nozzle together. It is recommended to use the complete spray pattern attachment (head, nozzle, and spray pattern regulator) for the conversion. This replacement part is suitable for the Spray Gun Student ISB 500.
