Remo Snare damper

The snare dampener is a freely floating, adjustable damping system that allows you to easily control the sustain of your snare drum. Once you attach it to your snare drum and adjust it correctly so that the piston rests on the drumhead, you can set the millisecond gate time by sliding the O-ring up or down. You can also adjust the damping level by moving the piston assembly closer to or further away from the counter frame. This way, you can customize your snare sound for different playing situations.
