Dia-Mounting Device for CS2 Slide Frames (Item No. 1008)

The automatic mounting device in the C.A.M. system for PAXIMOUNT CS frames or slide frames in the C.A.M. system. The film strip is inserted into the guiding slots of the device and is transported evenly to the last image, either forward or backward, using a spring-loaded friction wheel transport that automatically adjusts to the film thickness. The viewing area is illuminated by a frosted special lamp. With the help of the two image line markers and a foldable 2.5x magnifying glass, the interface can be precisely fixed. The PAXIMOUNT CS slide frame is pushed into the device until it stops, causing it to open. Cutting is done using a rolling cut method with a self-sharpening stainless steel blade. The film is automatically pressed down, achieving a very precise and clean cut. The cutting process is possible in both directions. After cutting, the slide frame can simply be pulled out of the device, and it closes by itself. Four marking points in the viewing area also allow for subsequent viewing of the framed slides under the magnifying glass.
