With wide-angle lenses and converters, some barrel distortion is unavoidable. However, this special wide-angle converter is designed to be almost distortion-free, with only -1.3% residual distortion, based on sophisticated calculations and design. It achieves a high resolving power of 350 line pairs per millimeter at the image center with an MTF contrast of 30%.

Designed specifically for high-resolution digital cameras, this converter features three free-standing, fully multi-coated lenses made from high refractive index glass types. It is an ideal accessory for professional use as well as for demanding amateurs who need to shoot in confined spaces. With this converter in front of the camera lens, there is no loss of light when changing the set aperture value; the light intensity remains unchanged.
