Product details
High-resolution semi-fish-eye attachment converter for 4K/HD camcorders: Raynox HD 3037 Pro. The semi-fish-eye attachment converter HD-3037PRO is designed to significantly expand the field of view of camcorder lenses; with this attachment, the lens captures a much larger portion of the subject. The converter can be used while zooming over a focal length range of 1:6 (across the full range of a 6x zoom), while maintaining sharp focus at all times. The HD-3037PRO achieves an impressively high resolution of 520 line pairs per millimeter (at the center of the image with an MTF contrast of 30%) thanks to its semi-fish-eye design.
Features:
- Focal length factor: 0.3x (diagonal) or 0.42x (horizontal) for digital cameras / 0.34x (diagonal) or 0.44x (horizontal) for camcorders
- Optical construction: 2 lenses in 2 groups, coated lenses made of optical glass
- Distortion: -45% for digital cameras, -39% for camcorders (maximum wide-angle for each)
- Front thread for filters: Not possible due to the extreme field of view
- Screw thread: 37 mm
The converter is designed for a zoom range of up to 6x for the selected camcorder. Vignetting and increasing edge blur may occur with a larger zoom range or with incompatible camcorders.
