DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY... it reads ok when your childs temperature is normal i.e. 37deg however as the temperature rises the Thermo will always read below the real temperature and obviously as this goes up the more dangerous it becomes. Instead buy a good quality in-ear thermometer (like they use at the doctors).
To answer the comment; at the time I compared to a in-ear thermometer purchased from a pharmacy; as it is non invasive it was easy to take multiple readings.Contra

At the moment, it cannot be recommended. Only when it can be used without a smartphone will it become a great product.
The device does NOT work without a smartphone! The required app must be given the "Location" authorisation. Otherwise, you cannot connect the thermometer. I consider this to be coercion.
I think the measuring technology is great and it also seems to work very reliably.Pro

Thought the Messemthode would be the hit and absolutely precise. So it is finally in advertising ...
But then had to determine that the Messunge are absolutely inaccurate.
On the one hand compared with a Braun ear thermometer and on the other hand, compared with several measurements in succession, with the same device!
That makes already times 2-3 degrees from!
Such a thing is basically, but especially with children, simply unusable, not to say dangerous.Pro
