Wacom Bamboo Ink Plus
Evaluation concerns use as a replacement pen for Acer Spin SP513-52N

The pen feels of high quality and should last longer than its counterpart from Lenovo (Active Pen 2) according to reviews.
No information can yet be given about the battery life.

For a while now, I've been nagging about the fact that my old Bamboo pen needs those overpriced AAAA batteries. It's nice that this one has a rechargeable battery. It works great with my old HP Pro x2 tablet. I am happy.
A great thing for the price

I've been writing for half a year with the asus pen v2, which costs more than 100 cent... Compared to the new pen, my old asus pen is much cheaper. You just realise that Wacom has a lot of experience with drawing tablets. 10 out of 10

I like the fact that it has a rechargeable battery (the Lenovo Pen is not available in the rechargeable version), and that the device discharges within 2-3 days. However, you can charge it on the USB port and work with it after a short time.
It is hardly ever mentioned, but the pen is compatible with the Microsft system, as well as the two Wacom systems 1.0 and 2.0 (switchable)! Check if your notebook works with one of the systems, then it is most likely compatible.

I was looking forward to the pen because I had heard good things about Wacom and Bamboo.
But unfortunately a big disappointment.
I had tested this pen with my Lenovo x380 and Hp x360 1040 G8 and with both of them there are wavy lines when drawing slowly.
Neither the manufacturers of the notebooks nor Bamboo or Wacom care.
No one is prepared to take a closer look.
In my opinion, it would only be necessary to interpolate and smooth the measuring points a little better in the pen firmware and then it would be perfect. But if the support team is stubborn, the pen can only be used as a paperweight.
Then there is the miserable battery life. If I use the pen intensively, it is empty after 8 hours (in comparison, I use the pen supplied by HP for about 2-3 weeks before I have to charge it).
On top of that, it takes forever to charge.
I decided on the pen mainly because of the reputation of Wacom and Bamboo and because of the shape of the pen, as it fits so well in the hand and does not twist, so that the buttons are always in the right place.
But because of all the other flaws, it just sits on the shelf and collects dust.

It would be a really good pen if the battery wasn't made in such a way that you have to charge it practically every day. The much bigger problem, however, is that it too often loses the connection and you then spend 10 minutes pressing something on the pen so that it finds the device again, you can change the protocol with the buttons, but it is not really clear which one is active and which one you want. All in all very tedious. I originally got the as a replacement for the Surface, but the Surface is better in all respects except for the writing quality.

The buttons and the connection work fine. However, the touch input creates disturbances as if I were tapping in many places with my fingers... The buttons and connection work fine... but the touch input creates disturbances as if I was typing in a lot of places with my fingers...

Pen is easy to set up. Fits well in the hand. But the connection to the Surface Pro 7 is terrible. Takes a long time (often several seconds) until the pen registers on the tablet and responds. For illustrating - with high frustration tolerance - just barely suitable, for writing simply unusable.

Definitely works better than the one from HP (with an HP notebook)
Very good, but the line for drawing is blurred (only with slow lines).
With the Book 2 and 3

Wacom Stylus Ink Plus is as it should be. Perfectly matched for my LG V60. Highly recommended

Uses on Windows surface 6
Very sensitive to touch, which is good for graphic design, but a bit more annoying to write smoothly and cleanly without linking words (but works fine too)

Unusable with the Lenovo ThinkPad L390 Yoga, can be paired and used though. However, the problem is that massive waves are drawn when straight strokes are made slowly. It is therefore unsuitable for drawing. The pen included with the L390 Yoga does not have this problem (but is smaller and does not fit well in the hand).

Pairs cleanly only with one device, sometimes needs resets (tested with Lenovo IdeaPad C340 with Touch), pairing fiddly.
-No on/off switch and standby mode eats a lot of power > Is constantly empty. And the battery indicator in Windows is not reliable. The user interface is unclear (over-implified), a bit confusing, you only have 2 buttons for everything (pairing, power on, 2 Bluetooth modes).
-Overall overpriced for the fiddly operation, no fun, oversimplified user interface, no control when the thing is switched on/off and when it makes a pairing, also a reset would be helpful.
