    Perfect

    Very satisfied with the tuner, I came from an older version of the decoder and I must admit that this tuner is a big leap forward!

    Reception problems

    I bought this reception module to replace the built-in S2 tuner in my VU+ Uno 4k SE and to convert the device for cable reception. After a short time, I noticed station dropouts on stations such as SWR, BR, WDR and NDR, so I replaced the antenna cable with a brand new one. After that, everything worked again for a short time, but really only for a short time. Jiggling the antenna plug brought back the disturbed stations for a short time. An electrician who had been called in checked the junction box and also the
    the wiring and found them to be in perfect condition. He suspected a defective solder joint or a faulty contact on the module that would temporarily interfere with certain frequency ranges.
    I sent the module back and ordered a complete new receiver instead.
    In the future, I will only use the VU+ with the S2 module (as before), where it also works perfectly.
