Ubiquiti

With Power over Ethernet, you can supply compatible devices with power through the network cable. This significantly reduces cabling efforts, especially for end devices like wireless access points, IP phones, and IP cameras, while also allowing for high flexibility in device placement. The IEEE 802.3bt standard is also known as Four-Pair Power over Ethernet (4PPoE) or PoE++. By utilizing all available pairs for power transmission, PoE++ increases the power output to 70 to 100 watts. The idea behind this is to power the entire workstation through the data cable, allowing energy-efficient computers with screens and phones to operate over a single LAN cable. Ubiquiti Networks is an American manufacturer of high-performance networking components. Ubiquiti's goal is to provide state-of-the-art and easy-to-implement communication solutions for a global customer base. The company was founded in 2005 and initially produced Wi-Fi adapters for PCs. Later, the product range expanded to include devices such as Wi-Fi routers, particularly for outdoor use. Meanwhile, the company also manufactures switches and surveillance cameras. Ubiquiti products are generally characterized by their superior performance, clever mechanical design, and ease of use.
