For professional reasons, I regularly have to deal with countless routers from the most diverse manufacturers. But this thing really 'shocked' me in a positive way.
I have rarely experienced such a problem-free configuration right away. Almost a dream.
The web interface runs fast and without problems, is clearly structured, implements changes quickly and has an above-average range of functions. And all this at an almost ridiculously low price.
The "established" brands with their often half-baked to horrible firmwares can take a leaf out of this book!
I have seen many routers that cost many times as much and were not nearly as usable.

I am using it temporarily as a router to set up a network for a customer. The device meets all requirements and is particularly convincing with its fast web interface. I am used to slower web interfaces from many devices and was pleasantly surprised. I can't give any information about the WLAN range, as I only use it locally and haven't tested a large range. However, with two antennas that can be aligned, this should also work.

Been using this little thing for ~2 months now and it works and does what it's supposed to.
the firmware looks ok, but I put openwrt on it right from the start, which allows me to run an open guest network.
in addition, the power consumption in normal operation is 1.5 watts - which seems at least to me extraordinarily good.
it's logically not a great box to run a bunch of other stuff like mesh and torknoten or something, because it just has too little cpu and too little disk space but all in all a great thing.
the only negative is - the power supply whistles. like cheap usb charging power supplies sometimes do. cats (and other animals) probably don't like it at all and if i had to sleep in the same room i would replace it too. (which would be relatively expensive) but since it's located in the passageway, it doesn't bother me, fortunately.

My old router from Netgear suddenly gave up the ghost. And without an internet connection, the PC can't be used for much these days. Many programmes want to connect before they can be started. So I had to have a new router as soon as possible.
Even after researching for a while, I didn't realise why I should buy a WLAN router with what felt like 50 antennas and a theoretical transfer rate of 500MBit for over CHF 100. That's why I decided on this device, which meets all my requirements and is surprisingly cheap. I connected the router at home and it works perfectly. The WLAN also works perfectly. I am satisfied with the device even after several weeks of use.
A great router for this price, the range is outstanding. My smartphone can connect to the network several metres away from the house. The transmission rate is more than satisfactory. Both online gaming and streaming work smoothly.
