Super cooler! IT IS really very BIG!!! super for overclocking
I overclocked from 3.4ghz to 4.5ghz and just 42degrees!!!
If you have enough space, I can only recommend it.

Very Good
PS: Watch out for installation height, this thing is really big!

Inexpensive, but extremely good cooler. Practically unbeatable in this price range. My i7-4790K overclocked to 4.4 GHz barely gets above 65-70°C at full load, which is impressive for an air cooler, and the included fan remains almost inaudible (in a Fractal Define R5).
However, one should be careful as the heat sink is really big. Memory with high heatspreaders should be avoided, and installation in a "normal" LGA 2011-v3 system is probably almost impossible.

The cooler has been around for a while, but if you don't want any blink-blink fuss, this is an excellent choice - I highly recommend it. Cools the overclocked Ryzen 7 2700X very well.
There are many tests on the internet in which the Thermalright HR-02 Macho Rev.B always performs excellently, even compared to much newer CPU coolers.

works perfectly so far (up to now CPU temperature up to max 29°C).
Perhaps a few hints:
- Thermal compound is included (so you don't need to buy it).
- Before you install the motherboard, you should attach the fastener to the back (a description of how to do this is included and is easy to understand). Otherwise you have to remove it again ;-) ...
- A Phillips screwdriver is also included.

I have installed the Rev. B version in three computers. The springs for mounting the radiator constantly drive me up the wall. Every time I plug in a GPU or something, the damn thing jumps off Venti. Then I have to swear for half an hour until the fan is back in place. And of course it can only be mounted when the GPU is out again. I wanted to have a mount printed, but the dimensions of the TY-147 fan are more than proper. The fan has 152x140mm, with 105mm hole spacing. Jesus Christ, who thinks up something like that? I really have to tie the fans down with cable ties so that the machos are suitable for my lab.

I use the cooler to semi-passively cool my i7 4th generation in the home server. It does this with temperatures within an absolutely acceptable range. An intake and an exhaust fan rotate slowly in the otherwise closed Fractal Define Fractal Define S.
There is a version of the Macho that is even better suited for this purpose, but it was not available here. At this price, a top cooler that can also compete with various AIOs at a very good price.
Size would have to be considered because of compatibility with the case, but I would not describe it as a negative point.

I already have the second Macho Rev.B. Once for my Xeon2690 permanent server, now for the Ryzen 3600X as a workstation.
Top cooling performance. Quiet. Good workmanship.
Price - performance = absolutely top.

Super cooling performance and very quiet.
The thermal paste that comes with it is not the best. Super screwdriver included. The assembly is very simple.

The cooler is huge, but does exactly what it should. So pay attention to your installation dimensions - also to the RAM! If someone needed it, a second fan could be attached to the back of the heat sink.

Good product. 4690k overclocked to 4.4Ghz without problems. Temperature constantly below 75° C

Good product, assembly takes longer than with push-pin coolers, but the cooler also holds. Unfortunately, only the Chill Factor (not 2 or 3) thermal paste is included in a sachet.

This is a very large cooler, which is very suitable for overclocking above 4.0 GHz.

Interesting and lush cooler. I previously had the "be quiet! Dark Rock Advanced". The Macho doesn't cool as well as its predecessor when idle, but it's way ahead in terms of performance.

This cooler is really great. With an i7-2600 overclocked to 4.3Ghz, I barely exceed 60°C at full load with Prime95. The PC is also only imperceptibly louder. I'm really thrilled, even with the price. Comparable coolers that I have looked at cost at least 20.- more. However, the size should not be underestimated. There is no room for the large 200mm side fan in my NZXT Phantom Case. The installation accessories including screwdriver are also great.
Note 3.03.2017: With the release of the new AM4 socket Thermalright offers all buyers a free upgrade kit to make the cooler compatible with it. Great service!

easy to install with video instructions. I've never had one of these before and was a beginner, but I was able to install this fan with the help of a video tutorial. The booklet that came with it didn't really help, so I ran a video alongside where you can see what you have to do.

I use the fan to cool my custom-built home server, and this thermalright replaced the intel cpu cooler that originally came with it,
before old fan => standby, cpu 60°C, environment 24°C
after new fan thermalright => standby, cpu 35°C, environment 24°C

The installation requires a little time, also because of the many parts.
The description is well done and understandable.
It is very good that the screwdriver is included, because it is necessary.
The cooling unit is large.
Pay attention to the installation depth!

Very good cooler, instructions for installation above the cut. Fan did not turn at first - only because the cable was not plugged in correctly. Be sure to remove the foil from the contact surface to the CPU before installation and clean with a little cleaning alcohol if necessary (glue residue). It is particularly positive that the delivery includes some spare material (1 additional screw, additional set of anti-vibration pads). Before buying, please clarify (measure if necessary) whether the cooler fits in the case, it is relatively large and only suitable for ATX cases. Overall, a clear 5-star.
Pro
Very quiet and robust cooler. But you have to be careful that it fits into the case and does not cover the Ram.

Installation in small enclosure somewhat fiddly
