I have been using robotic lawn mowers for 10 years.
Previously I had Worx models. These were of poor quality. I had to repair them almost every year. The maximum service life was 6 years. Spare parts were difficult to obtain.
I can't say anything about the service life of the Segway Navimow yet.
But so far I'm delighted with it:
Although my lawn and also the position of the base station are not up to scratch, it works perfectly.
It has never got stuck. There are no more holes in the lawn due to spinning wheels.
It mows the whole lawn cleanly and systematically in a short time and very quietly. No unmown areas are left behind.
Compared to my previous Worx mowers, the Segway is better in almost everything, even though it is in the same price range.
I would recommend it to anyone.

We're absolutely delighted with our first robot lawnmower! It's really powerful and climbs fairly steep slopes with no problem. Most of the time, it copes well even in slightly tricky situations. In the beginning, it sometimes got stuck, but it looks like it's learning quickly because that's no longer a problem. Setting it up was child's play and it works with surprising precision. Just imagine: it mows the lawn by changing direction every day, giving your garden a look worthy of Wembley Stadium!
We bought this mower with our neighbour and we use it alternately for our properties, each measuring around 250m². We've created a passageway between our two gardens and it works like a charm. Since 19 August, an update to the application has even made it possible to share the mower between several accounts. So everyone can manage it or start mowing whenever they want. And what peace of mind! It's so quiet that you can even have it mowed at night. It has a 'night' mode that reduces noise even further, and it waits until daybreak to mow the edges, so there are no nasty surprises.
Of course, you mustn't forget to do the edging from time to time.

Overall, we are satisfied with the Navimow, but it is also our first robotic lawnmower, so we have no basis for comparison.
We are very disappointed with the customer service and the repair service. We had damaged the antenna cable. At first we wanted to buy a replacement aerial from Navimow, which unfortunately was not possible according to Navimow's customer service. We were referred to Galaxus. Galaxus, in turn, demanded that we return the product complete with accessories. The package came back a few weeks later with a replacement antenna (for CHF 250), but unfortunately incomplete. A large number of the accessories were not returned (screws, lifting rings, replacement blades, etc.) and parts of the original packaging were also missing. According to Galaxus customer service, the return was complete and therefore no subsequent delivery could be triggered. After repeated enquiries, they agreed to compensate me financially for the subsequent purchase of spare parts. However, the costs were completely passed on to me. Navimow told me that they could not supply me with any spare parts (except for the blades) and that I should look around for them from third-party suppliers. However, I have not found suitable spare parts for everything (especially for the floor screws), which I find very annoying.

Despite my negative points, I think it's a very good robot. You just can't assume that all you need to do is position the antenna correctly. The robot itself also needs to be well positioned to see the satellites from its base, a point not properly explained in the documentation.
The wheels are flawed and slip too much for the heavy weight of the robot. Segway has noticed this, and has introduced 'all-terrain' wheels as an option. But this isn't an option, it's a disguised correction of a design flaw, which is a shame.
