Quiet and also for individual cups
A really quiet kettle that can also heat small quantities of water.

No CH plug
Can not rate the function of the product itself.
This product has a round euro plug, not CH plug. Even with an adapter (that actually wasn’t delivered with it, as it should have been) it would not fit as desired in the designated power outlet.
This wasn‘t clearly obvious when ordering, although I now see noted in the small detail.
Galaxus, please make it more obvious if an electrical product for delivery/use in CH does not have a CH plug! Maybe a note in the checkout process to confirm this detail would be helpful to many customers and save the cost and effort of unnecessary orders and returns.Contra

The quietest kettle I have ever owned
I read the description, but my wife and I were still surprised at how quiet this kettle is compared to our very loud WMF kettle. Thank you so much for allowing us to make tea water, water for cooking, and for baby formula without the noisy disruption. It looks very nice on our counter as well, taller than the last kettle, but does not take up more counter space.

Wasted potential
In fact, the kettle is quieter than other kettles due to a "silencer" above the base. But apart from that, the appliance is not my cup of tea:
* The lid doesn't always open fully from the start. This means I have to help by hand to open it completely. My previous kettle was still able to do this independently after 8 years.
* It is difficult to clean because the lid is small and there are a lot of plastic parts inside that cannot be removed: Level indicator for 1-3 cups, the side windows as well as the "silencer".
* The manufacturer has managed to place the 2 LEDs in the interior in such a way that you can hardly see how much water is inside.
* Despite the side windows, you can hardly see how much water is in the kettle. On the one hand, they don't go down far enough, on the other hand, the plastic is very cloudy.
* The kettle wobbles when it stands on the base.Pro

Great
I've had a Russell Hobbs Quiet boil before, then another in the meantime (never again!), now this one. The last one I had for a couple of years, so it lasts well and they really are much quieter compared to others. I love it! Love the product.
