I converted the Unifi Enterprise Switch and am very satisfied. Quiet as a whisper and 39 degrees instead of 79 degrees.

Wow inaudible
I thought I would definitely hear the fan, as I have it connected directly to a 12 volt socket without a regulator. But I don't hear it at all. Super. Since I use it as a replacement for the fan on a QNAP dual-port network card (which whistled unbearably loud and high).

Does what it should
The Noxtua fans are top as always. I use them in several switches and they work great. However, you have to compare the original and these Noctua fans well. An original fan from a switch is usually louder but also more powerful. It is therefore essential to ensure that the switch does not overheat.

Starting current at 5V
Even with the use of an external power supply, the fan only started at 6.5V. With 5V at the power supply, I had to start the fan by hand. The specification of 5V-12V is to be taken with caution.
