    MyStrom and the demise of my network

    I have a commercial Gbit network at home. Netgear Nighthawk plus mesh extender. Worked fine for over a year. Since the day I connect the powerline the router has to be rebooted DAILY. Despite the latest firmware. And the best: As soon as the Powerline is unplugged.... it works again. Who can explain me this mystery I give a beer.

    Great for basement kids, not so great for everyone else =)

    I bought the set to get the CAM data from my CAD computer (2nd floor) so that the CNC counterpart (1st floor) can operate the 3-axis milling - which also works!

    To put the set into operation it was connected in the apartment     in two rooms ( ~11m distance ) but I had to find out quite fast that 2'000 Mbit/s are very, very optimistic... When it comes down to it, I get with the ~25MB/s that the Windows 10 data transfer window shows between two computers on pretty much exactly 1/10 of the theoretical performance - A normal 1Gbit/s network connection resulted in ~115MB/s in comparison.

    Interestingly, it doesn't matter where in the house ( apartment or basement ) I do the test.... Everywhere the performance is equally modest - Is better than nothing but well... Therefore halt the deduction in the performance rating.

    Otherwise I can not complain. The Sytem was to bring without unnecessary software in the operating state, the range is pleasingly high and it seems to be reliable.

    worth nothing

    Couple days used. Adapter looked like the picture. Socket is now defective. New socket from electrician costs more than this garbage
