Watch out and measure your table first if you want to put the subwoofer under the table! :D
I got a nasty surprise and had to move my room so that I could put this monster of a subwoofer somewhere :P
The sound is great, especially at low volume levels, and stays clear up to the upper limit (although I've never really tested it --> ear damage).
The cables to the individual satellites are quite long, just designed for a living room.
I haven't had any problems with the control console yet, but it's annoying (to me) that the display always lights up --> put a mouse pad over it when watching films and it's fine.
I have connected the system optically to the PC.

The system is convincing in every respect, whether it's music, games or films.

Absolutely awesome system for 445.- (incl. shipping). I don't have any noise or bass box hum. I run the speakers through a SB Audigy 2 ZS Platinum.

Hello everyone, I didn't get the system from digitec but from a private dealer. Well, in any case, the system is great I've been using it myself for almost 3 years and it's still running and the sound is great I use it mainly for gaming and listening to music. Whereby it should be mentioned that I have only the control element and the subwoofer gakauft and no original boxes Angeschlossen have one notices but no difference (I in any case) I am very happy to have bought the system and especially that it "still" works without problems, LED s I have also connected to the subwoofer also runs with it without problems. You must not disconnect the system from the power supply.

I have had the system for 5 years. And I am very satisfied! Until recently, I never had any problems and could connect everything I wanted.
A fortnight ago I had a power failure, which resulted in a humming noise on all chinch channels. (Toslink still works) All the tricks you can google didn't help! The overvoltage in the mains caused me permanent damage.
So I looked for help on the Logitech page and found it in the online support chat! Logitech couldn't tell me a trick to make the hum go away, but they sent me a new Control Pad within 3 working days! FREE OF CHARGE!
I doubt that other companies offer such a service! 1A Logitech! Customer satisfaction is very important to you!

Overall conclusion after 3 years. This system is simply top-notch. However, you have to accept that the display light will eventually give up the ghost.
Important: The system sounds even better with a sound card.
Creative Fatality Pro (or whatever it's called) is simply brilliant.
(This makes the system much better in terms of sound quality).
Be sure to compare prices beforehand. I'm sure you can get them from time to time for 300Fr.

I have to say, the bass really tops everything....
Everything in my room starts to vibrate when I play House/Electro or anything else (at full volume of course)...
But watch out: these things are so loud and have such a big BOOM that my neighbours come to me after 30 seconds.

The system is connected to my media PC in the living room and offers a fantastic sound experience with appropriate films, considering the comparatively low price. Music also sounds great. I bought it some time ago. I wanted to connect the device with SPDIF. No matter what you do with the sound codec, the set does not work. No matter which driver and sound software you use, no pips come out of the boxes. Not possible although it should be compatible with it!

To compare a Teufel home cinema system with a PC system..is almost........egal
Especially the difference in size where the resonance is immediately noticeable.
Depending on the sound card that is installed, the sound also has a corresponding effect.....just for information.
I have a Teufel system in my living room. But I am very enthusiastic about this PC system. I can't detect any weaknesses in the mid-range or high-frequency range. Sorry

Logitech Z-5500 Surround System, unfortunately without stand-by mode which I find a pity! So it can only be switched off via a power strip or on the subwoofer itself (not necessarily very accessible at the rear connections). More info about it on the net.
The system is certainly not bad for PC games...
The system is certainly not bad for PC games and films, but it is by no means the case that the satellites sound "good", a lot of detail is lost in the mid- and high-range. I had this system for 5 years and have now changed to a Teufel system 5 THX Select 2. In terms of sound, they are worlds apart ;)
There are speakers from Logitech for 79 fr that sound better than these satellite speakers, e.g. Logitech Z-323. But if you want something sensible, you should spend a little more if you really want good sound. The systems from Nubert and Teufel are quite good in terms of price / performance.
