Le Creuset, bof!
It's not the first time I've been disappointed by a product from this brand. This time, I won't be buying it again. After a few years of use, the kettle rusts in certain places and becomes glazed. For the price, I think the consumer can expect a product that will last for several years without moving! I bought a much simpler stainless steel model, which will no doubt age much better.

Good product - recommended
This product has replaced our electric kettle. Thus, we have one less electrical appliance standing around in the kitchen. When not in use, the kettle can be put away, or simply left on the hob.
The silver version (unlike the enameled versions) has a stainless steel surface inside that is easy to clean and descale. Furthermore, the surface is probably less susceptible to scratches and chipping of the enamel.
The kettle is easy to fill, the lid closes very well, and the handle and spout closure have a quality finish. The underside is very flat, in general the kettle looks very valuable and robust.
In combination with an induction hob, the efficiency is significantly higher, a liter of water is hot faster, which is probably why less energy is consumed.
We hope that this kettle for heating water will work longer than conventional kettles. There are few mechanical and no electrical components that can shorten the life.
