    Only for INTERNET SIMCARDS THOUGHT.

    Is recognized by Sunrise as HOTSPOT.
    Otherwise installation perfect and runs flawlessly!

    Phone connection is top

    This router has an analogue telephone connection. You can connect a normal landline phone to it and make calls via the SIM.
    The husband of one of my customers is demented and therefore had to change nursing homes and in     the new nursing home there is no telephone connection or the nursing home would have had to hire an electrician to pull a cable and drill holes. Very expensive. A mobile phone is not possible for him to use. The only thing he can do is take calls from his wife by picking up a handset. The solution: buy a Swisscom PrePaid SIM, block the mobile data in the Swisscom Cockpit (important!), put the SIM in this router and plug in a normal phone. The router can only make calls via 3G, not VoLTE. If you have the connection on "Auto", it just switches to 3G on an incoming/outgoing call, works, but takes some time. Since we don't use the router for internet at all, the connection is simply set to "Always 3G" and then it goes much faster until the phone rings. Works great, and because of the prepaid SIM only calls are accepted, there are no running costs. Any phone can be used and it is also powered by the router. The LEDs can also be switched off so that it is not dazzled at night. WLAN can also be completely deactivated

    Significantly worse internet than with mobile hotspot.

    Had bought the device specifically as an alternative/improvement of the cell phone hotspot - but even with an expensive LTE directional antenna, the reception is better, but the internet remains underground slow...
