A coated, circular polarisation filter in good workmanship, lubricated rotating segment. The filter is built very flat, unfortunately this also applies to the knurling. This makes it rather difficult to grip when attaching it. The filter reduces the resolution by only 5.5 %. The filter extends the exposure time by about 1.34 stops. All in all, a useful filter.

Little difference in brightness and only a few reflections. Usual good Hoya quality despite mass production. The filter meets the requirements of most photographers. If you are a professional photographer and want a better coating on the glass, go for B&W or Lee filters. However, you then pay several times more for a little more quality. Optimal price-performance ratio.
